Hi all,
Before I start with my dilemma, let me assure you I do understand that on server-based games just certain things are changeable. Namely the parts which actually are calculated/done on the client side and just the outcome sent to the server.
In my case the client side is the actual 1:1 fights.
Setup:
I am using CE 7.0 out of the box and no setting changed.
The BlueStacks version 4.280.0.1022 is installed on my Windows desktop.
Actions so far:
- Opened the HD-Player.exe process in CE
- Managed to find the address of health
- Updated the health value
Checked:
Health is showing the updated value with the next turn. Fine.
The value is actually updated correctly as if I set it to 1 and get hit during the turn the character dies. Fine.
Issue:
Performing a "What writes to this address" I get nothing.
Performing a "What accesses this address" I get nothing.
It was suggested in some blogs to change those values:
“MEM_MAPPED: Memory that is mapped into the view of a section. (E.g:File mapping, emulator memory, slow)” to true.
"Read/Write Process Memory (Will cause slower scans)" to true.
If I do anything like that I receive a "DBK: This driver could not be opened" message. Unloading the kernel doesn't help and I have to reset the settings to make CE usable again.
