Ive never heard it, but I assume by English you mean the UK, because they used the word Flat
old mcdonald is very familiar in the US, as is yankee doodle. as a kid I found it very interesting during choir the sheet for the music said that yankee doodle and old mcdonald had "unknown" artists, shit was crazy to me at the age of 8 that a songs artists could not be known
