|
|
I remember that few months ago I was running DBVM & Kernel DBG just fine! I was booting with the "unsigned drivers" parameter and I could run it smooth.
Yesterday I tried to run DBVM, but no success :/
I get into the about screen, then click on the green massage "Your system supports DBVM" then I get a warning and the flashing "DBK64 LOADED" pops out.
After I press Yes on the warning I get this:
"Could not launch DBVM: The Intel-VT feature has been disabled in your BIOS".
So first I booted into BIOS and was going to check it out, but I saw that Intel-VT is already ENABLED.
Then I decided to google that error, and found out that antiviruses and other programs can block the Intel-VT.
I do NOT have any installed antivirus, and not any VM programs.
So I wonder why it says that my Intel-VT is disabled??
P.S
I tried to run this lua script:
| Code: |
dbk_initialize()
print(string.format("IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL = %x",dbk_readMSR(0x3a)))
|
and got the following output:
| Code: |
IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL = 1

feature control 1 means it's disabled(bit 2 is 0) and can't be enabled anymore until a hard reboot(bit 0 is 1)
you're sure you never let Avast touch your computer?

Sometimes just turning off your computer completely, and then turning it back on will work.
Do you have any other virtual machines running ? Is your current system inside a virtual machine ?

No, i don't have any VM running and my current system isn't inside a VM,
I've tried restarting a lot of timed (with and without VT, with and without unsigned drivers)
