My AV picked up OpenCandy as adware, so I researched it. It looks pretty bad, so I'm staying the hell away from OpenCandy. Can you make a Cheat Engine 5.6.1 installer without OpenCandy for us?

just compile ce 5.6.1 from the SVN yourself.

but why do you need 5.6.1 ? What feature do you need that 6.4 doesn't have ?

you can get the 5.6.1 source from the svn "cheat engine old" branch
to compile you need delphi 7 enterprise (not standard) and if you wish the driver get the unsigned dbk64.sys posted on this forum, or compile and sign it yourself using the windows driver kit (or use 32 bit windows, like xp)

also, be prepared to do some programming as an unedited 5.6.1 won't be enough from what i heard (which brings us back to the: you can do it with the 6.4 sourcecode as well)
you've tried an hexeditor on the cheat engine exe and renamed all instances of cheat with blaaa?
