TV is a 50" 4k display. Most games apart from D3 and dota I play at 1080 though. I use a lap desk, it doesn't sit in front of the tv like that. Yes I have blue cut coating on my classes for this kind of shit.

When my graphics card can play things maxed at 4k it really is fucking great. But that's only a few simple games.

id want a 26 or 28 inch for dat pixel density. youre sittin super close to a 50" doesnt seem comfortable
also what brand is that, it does 60hz 4k with 1 cord?

30hz 4k. Which Is why I mostly play at 1080.
Brand is TCL,TV was $400 or so.
My head is about 6 ft or so away, I dim it a good bit. Works well.

ah 30hz that sucks man ,good for movies though when they become available.
my friend picked up a seiki 50" for around the same price on black friday, looks really nice for the price, but sadly its also 30hz

I just know that some of the suggestions are that you should pick up a cheap 30hz 4k if you want a 1440p since you can run 60hz 1440p on it stable.

its all an illusion
I have the 240hz 4k Vizio 50' 60hz @4k
and after playing on my 144hz monitor
60 makes me cringe
also 4k games just don't look any better in 4k on my 50 than they do in 1080 on my 28inch
don't get me wrong tho even 4k netflix looks fuckamazing when just watching regular tv
but 4k hasnt fully come yet and i patiently await 4k bluerays that were shown at CES2015
also this based god of a monitor

is the best of all worlds because its not 4k its less performance demanding on your gfx card and fps performance yet it still looks amazing and delivers the 1ms 144hz soo coveted by gamers
the only thing that's a drag about it is its Extremely oversaturated price from hype

55 LG LED 1080p, I can literally never see any type of pixel on netflix, hulu, any media.
also is 60hz but I'm pretty sure that means nothing
