How to understand the hint phrase CE?
| Quote: | | Trust that this server will not disappear during the scan and that the children it trusts itself won't do so eithe |
What is "that the children it trusts" ?
What do you mean "it trusts itself won't do so eithe"?
I am from Russia. Help to understand it

Next version of "distributed pointer scanning". Not finished. Many bugs and errors. Do not use it for now.
If you are intrigued and want to help, sign to "CE Beta Tester" group and go to recent topic in "Cheat Engine Beta" section.

Once it's finished:
Pointerscan nodes can connect to eachother in a dynamic network
When a node is "not trusted" the parent of that node takes precautions to prevent data loss by not sending data randomly, so when it suddenly disappear without proper termination it will be able to recover the data it sent and do the work itself
If it is trusted it doesn't take such precaution and just blindly sends and receives paths from it without keeping track of it. (It's faster)
If a trusted server somewhere in the chain where to disappear without proper termination it would mean that certain paths are lost and woud never get evaluated again. Resulting in a loss of possible results

I've never seen a pointer scan take long enough to warrant using distributed computing. Especially over the Internet with computers owned by people you don't know, which is the only situation I can think of in which one of the nodes wouldn't be trusted.
By the way, how do I join the beta group?

Games are becomming bigger (and drm more anoying) . Soon you'll find level 6 with a structsize of 4096 to be the standard. Which could take about 10 times longer than a level 5 with 2048 structure(depending on the total number of pointers in a pointermap)
(Also, people that game on crappy slow laptops because they don't have anything better can use this)
As for non trusted systems, that includes systems that bsod at least once a week without reason and systems your family members may turn off or put to sleep without asking you
And you can request to join the beta section from the usergroups option

Hello. Instead of opening new topic, i decided to post my question here(given that it has been already referenced above): I have submitted a request to join the CE beta group ~60 hours ago, and it is still pending. Is there a way to expedite the process, or do i need to pass some kind of initial test phase to be eligible to join the group? Thanks in advance.
Edit: I moment ago, i have become a member of the group. Thank you.
