a small difference
assembly is used to generate new code before the program has started, autoassembler is used for editing existing code that is already running
aa has extra tools to help with that like alloc which allocates memory for it's code, while assembler usually has to rely on a third party to allocate the memory it resides in (loadersl

pretty much yes. There are a few syntax differences like ce defaulting to hexadecimal but for the rest it's the same
