Hi everyone, I am an amateur game hacker and I mostly do so to explore the various games and to challenge myself.

I see a lot of threads on this forum with people just asking for the "table" which I assume is a shortcut to cheating with cheatengine. All I use is a simple memory editor.

Obviously I know how to scan and the editor I am using allows 1, 2 , 4, 8, float and double scans.

My question is other than minerals and gas, how do I find specifix values at runtime?

For example. I try to find a unit or structure's health and upon second scan I always return 0 results. People claim to be able to edit the building times, sheilsheild and health values, even god mode.

I want to know how the people on this site that found these addresses went about finding them. I always try to do it myself, and I've tried all I can think of. Scanning different in types, using range instead of exact value, even using whole numbers instead of decimals (in the case of trying to modify a timer in game) I read some of the forum posts and tried searching the her values in the scripts and replies with no success

I'm guessing that since the process isn't detailed on this forum already after all this time it probably never will, but I am an eager gamer and hope one of you will help me.

Anything you offer will not only help me in this game but future ones, I just need to know how to think and solve problems I encounter.

did u try to scan with increased/decreased value?

you could play against a friend and then damage/repair the unit to get the health address (i dont play starcraft, just an idea)
