I know that the rules say no multiplayer game cheats period end of discussion, but to what extent is this taken? Games like Unity are focused around their multiplayer (according to the developers, and if its working Laughing

) but they also have major single player portions, and games like Command and Conquer (may her soul rest in peace) were primarily single player, but had multiplayer aspects too. I suppose what I'm trying to say is, at what point is a game considered multiplayer?

The rule is basically like this:

1. If the game is 100% multiplayer, you are not at all allowed to discuss it here. We do not allow any multiplayer hacking at all on this site due to legal issues.

2. If the game offers single player and multiplayer, you are free to discuss hacking/cheating on the single player aspect of the game. If cheats that are made for single player work for multiplayer, great. But you cannot discuss it here. None of the multiplayer aspects are allowed to be discussed at all.

But going on that, you are allowed to discuss techniques and such for hacking multiplayer games, as long as you follow these guidelines:
- You CANNOT name the game.
- You CANNOT name the publisher / creator of the game.
- You CANNOT name any other games by the creator.

Basically anything that gives away what the game is you are talking about will result in the topic being deleted or locked.

We do this due to legal issues in the past with some companies.

But to be considered multiplayer, the topic has to be either:
- Regarding a 100% multiplayer game.
- Regarding a games multiplayer aspects.

So simply put, do not talk about anything multiplayer on this site.

Gotcha, games with multiplayer are fine as long as you don't talk about fight clu- uh, multiplayer.

The singleplayer cheats most likely won't work on multiplayer anyhow (i'm quite sure no god mode/inf ammo cheat would ever work in multiplayer)

But this a a fault from devs.

EDIT by Geri: A good example for a post which is not allowed. Seriously. Wtf? It was explained like 4 posts ago that you are not allowed to talk about specific games' multiplayer part.
