Cheat Engine

Trying to figure out a easy game that I have that would help me learn how to exactly work Cheat Engine, but so far I'm not having any luck. Wanted to try to make a cheat engine script for Risk of Rain, but I can't figure out what's what when I try to modify my health or money.

steamcommunity_com/id/xiepher007/games/ is my steam profile with list of all the games I got on steam if anyone wants to look at it and see if there's a easier game to work with since I'm trying to learn how to use Cheat Engine. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to do like the tutorials that are posted, but I still can't figure things out.

Those are pretty good targets for learning:
Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, Darksiders II, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, DuckTales Remastered, Borderlands 2

You can start with (the easiest): DuckTales Remastered, Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, Crysis 2 (single player)
