| Quote: | | People believe you cannot separate the two. Of course you can. There are businesses that are trying to use blockchain technology to create smart contracts, the idea of putting copyrights on the blockchain: suddenly there’s an irrefutable copyright worldwide. And with the speed of technology, we really should be expecting not that bitcoin will solve our problems, but that bitcoin is a stepping stone to something better. If you talk to people in Silicon Valley, that’s how they think, that this is all just a process. The blockchain will develop, but bitcoin as a currency is just a step along the way. |

Yeah but doesn't mean he's late to the party. He took at least a year of research before saying anything conclusive.
Some people are against him (mainly bit coin enthusiast) and some others are for him. I like bit coin, but it's not something I would put money in since I see it more as let's hope I get lucky and it will go up in a few year. It's also just a currency, there's no solid value to it besides what people perceive the value is so it's a little hard to predict where it's going to in the future, because it doesn't address much of a need besides that it's decentralized and up to a point anonymous. But like Jeffrey Robinson said, nobody cares about that. It's also a little complicated for the average consumer, that or they don't want to bother to learn about it, because they're too busy waiting for the new Iphone.
