movss xmm1,[esi+04]

It moves [esi+04] to xmm1, but how many bytes does it move ?
Does Cheat engine have a tool that shows you the content of xmm1 ?

It loads the float(4 byte) located at esi+4 into xmm1
You can see the xmm registers in the floating point window. (Usually the small F button)
