As Cheat Engine users, we have one common interest: Security. To be specific, breaking multi-layered security.
Now for the smartphone users here, anybody ever try Apple's "Find my iPhone" service? I am an Android user myself, so I have no idea how it works for Apple. Can you perform a factory reset on an iPhone to bypass the tracking service?
I know that on Android, if you install Cerberus Anti-theft (Created by the founders of Cerberus RAT for PC) using root privileges, the service will survive even a factory reset/wipe (flashing a new ROM kills it anyway though)
However, what about Apple? What if someone loses access to their Apple ID?

iOS lacks plenty, to name a few, SMS commands, complete remote access even after factory reset, etc

You fail to understand that the consumer doesn't want to setup and configure tons of shit or go and look for apps. They want ease of use and things to work out of the box with minimal setup, and they want it to work extremely well 24/7.
Once you setup an iphone (approx. 1 min) this is all done.

Unless you suffer** from a double digit IQ, "one click setups" are entirely useless and I would be very suspicious of them. Not every user is looking for the same exact features. I was just using a friend's Windows tab the other day, and it was just terrible design. Could not install Firefox, no Youtube app, had to use internet explorer and for videos longer than two minutes the device would go to sleep and after waking it you'd have to load the browser all over again.
** Can I even use the word "suffer" when it's a good thing for the American economy?

im not saying im using it/it cant be beat, im just pointing out there is a first party tracking solution for android phones in response to Euphorical
i have a cerberus account myself
on topic, almost every phone can be stolen and reverted to stock. i can't find the article on it but there was a bunch of stores that were, for a fee, wiping out any security on iPhones/anything else.
the only defense you really have is to write down your IMEI somewhere and either use it to prove someone stole your phone or have it blacklisted

A fee??? It takes minutes to flash a new ROM, however, phone thieves tend to be really really dumb and often just do a factory reset instead.
There have been cases where people got the address (exact GPS coordinates), names, telephone number, and photos/video/audio of thieves and the police still stated that's not enough for a warrant. Even after your phone is found, yes, you have to indeed write down your IMEI and have proof of purchase (the box/receipt of the device) when it is recovered from the thief by law enforcement. Cerberus saves your IMEI, so does ADM. Samsung Phones are now coming with a built in security feature (KNOX) that can't be removed even after flashing a new ROM (though I've never really heard about its success). All you have to do is register your device and it will save your IMEI to your profile, where you can log in and track your device at any time.

cerberus password enabledata
For location:
cerberus password find
