Just check the ce sourcecode, it's pretty easy. But please note that you will be violating the DMCA law if you modify that piece of the sourcecode

If you mean a trainer made with CE then you can't. You could in previous versions and due to the ripping that was going on, dark byte made it impossible to unpack/reopen trainers.
If you mean an exe made with some programming language then find out which packers has been used and unpack that. Then load up in a debugger/disassembler and steal to your heart's desire.
Why do you want to bother unpacking anyway when its so easier to steal the codes from a trainer, mine have been shred to pieces and CE trainers are far easier than any custom coded ones.
A lot of people have written pretty extensive guides on how to steal so go check them out if that is what you intend to do.

It's far from impossible to unpack them lol... Very much so the opposite.
The entire trainer can be put back into plain text format as a cheat table. Regardless if it's marked as protected or not and regardless if it is compiled to an exe or a .CETRAINER. Either or can be undone.
Everything you need is within the CE source code.

If people want to rip they start by searching for memory modifications after trainer activation. You cannot prevent this idioticy.
However besides of ripping there is also another reason why someone wants to take a look at the source code: The autor of the trainer is no longer available and you want to update the trainer or investigate of how he has done a specific option. I'm not a lawyer but as this is for personal only I don't think you can blame him.
atom0s gave a useful hint for people like that and that's all it has need.
