idk if anyone participating, but i just came up with my costume. gunna be a mexican since i already look like one. but a big part of the inspiration for this costume was something i could wear year round and not really have to spend money on; stuff i already had or could borrow.
gunna buy those flaming hot cheeto knee high socks and that's it. then i'll wear a pair of my younger brothers dickies shorts cuz they're bigger than mine. then i have a taco bell belt from when i worked there that is the type of belt which you see those mexicans have hanging down cuz it's so long. then wear a ridiculously big plain white or black t-shirt. and have been growing my beard so i can have a big mustache (and shave the rest) on halloween. also thinking about buzzing my hair really short.

I also always dress up with stuff I find lying around. It's really really easy to dress up as a hippie, caveman or pirate if you have long hair, a beard or stache, and an attic full of old clothes. The funny thing is, lots of times random people compliment me on my costume when I go to dress-up parties, while I never spend any more than an hour and 0 dollars on it.
Today I found an old white dress in the attic, looks like I'll be going as zombie jesus this year. The company down the street often throws away these big cardboard tubes, which I could turn into a cross with some duct tape.

I have enough stuff lying around to improvise a costume too.
I even have props like old guns, a crossbow and dungeons and dragons related stuff.
