I couldn't be any more indifferent about it.
I would love to see it crash and burn to see all these kids cry about their retarded investment in such an unstable currency, but sites like newegg accepts btc, and I actually like them, so I wouldn't want to see it hurt them.

So.. it balances out to I really don't give a shit either way.

bitcoin itself is flawed, good for getting the ball rolling
digital currency in general = the future and good

all the people like you trend hopping coins for money, or thinking btc is a good investment at all = bad

specially since the last announcement of paypal's alliances with coinbase and other bitcoin trading companies, I think it's growth potential is huge.
The value of bitcoin has not been about distribution of wealth for a long time now, but its value is mostly because of its usability. The more acceptance bitcoin gets and more people use it, the more the price will go up. (of course, there are other factors that make the price go up/down as well and that's why its volatile)

I think that right now it is a good time for investing in bitcoin. The price is low and there is a good growth potential that will sky rocket once paypal seals the deals and implements the alliances(this also should bean bitcoin getting in ebay)

Right now fiat is not stable, and educated people from outside of the USA fear a lot that the USD is about to burst and cause a new crisis.
There is a lot of inflation that has not been reflected in the USA market because of how it's government hides things from people.
This is a real thing.

the fact that ISIS is using Euros to get away from the dollar economy is enough to cause scrutiny in the dollar.

Dollar is so high now! You can feel it so much when you live in 3rd world country and you are buying stuff from the amazon and ebay!
