E.g.: Using a drink from an MMORPG.

Hi and welcome,
looks like you're trying to built a bot for a multiplayer game (MMORPG).
CE does not support cheating in multiplayer games, therefore you've to find another forum, that maybe helps you out.
But before you do that, ask yourself if you really want to annoy other people with hacking in multiplayer games. It's something, only kids do. So, grow up and change your mind, thanks you!

| It's just for a private server. Bots are allowed on this server. I am a IT-Security Cosultant, this has nothing to do with game-hacking, so I just want to learn it of principle.

So, a private server where you're the only person playing on? That seems like no fun at all, for a MMORPG.
Anyway... you might take a look at the CE Ultimap tool. There are a few tutorials out on youtube, how to use it. It's a very powerful tool, that will help you, to find what you need. You've to enable DBVM to make use of Ultimap, so make sure you can run this VM on your PC. If you can't make use of Ultimap, cause you can't run DBVM, you have to scan for the value that get's changed by your drink and then dig deeper and deeper into the code to find your function. It's much more time intense without Ultimap.

What are you going to do right after you found the operation, that is responsible for using a drink? I guess you want to built a bot, dont you? If so, building a software that accesses data from another process or gets injected into a process and modifies memory to automate some ingame controls, to ease the game for you is NOT hacking? You don't play the game in its proper way anymore, when using such tools and that's in fact, HACKING/CHEATING. Regardless of this, you dig deep in the code of a game, to gather information and analyze the behaviour of functions through disassembling the game. This is not allowed to do, since it's forbidden in nearly every ToS/ToU or what ever...
