Cheat Engine

Long-time (very long time) cheat engine user here. I tend to use speedhack function in a lot of singleplayer games that have boring parts that could be sped up (ie. walking to a mission, waiting for something to finish cooking, etc.). I don't have much free time for games these days, so speeding up non-action parts is a blessing.

That being said, I've used it without problems all these years in every game, except for one - 7 Days to Die. First tried it some years ago (I think Alpha 19?). Realized it's constantly freezing and stopped. Tried a year later, same thing. tried another year or two later - still happening (by now, it's at 2.0).

Game runs perfectly fine for 10-30 minutes, but then freezes (with last sound suddenly repeating on a loop) and Cheat Engine crashes/closes without an error.

Figured I might aswell try my luck here since this is a game I really want to play thru, but doing it without speedhack function seems painful since I'm so used to it.

I should note that during these years, most of my hardware has been changed and my OS has been re-installed fresh with the issue still persisting

It's been nearly another year. Even upgraded my hardware (RTX 5080). 7 Days to Die is still freezing if using speedhack functionality. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nope, I missed the 7.7 release. Updated, been playing for 3 hours now. The speedhack feels very different (smoother? not really slowing down time/frames, but physics?) and I've not experienced any crashes, which has basically never happened if I play longer than 2 hours. Whatever you did seems to have fixed it. Thank you very much This is amazing.
