Have had some trouble finding the correct value to search for within a game, I finally did a unkown initial value search type double, and after a lot of increase/decrease i am left with a value, but I have no idea how to change it. The value ingame are million dollars "example, 17 579 464" the value I get from my search is 3.55490211850888E-310. Have tried to change just a number but the game crashes. Is there someway to change the double value type so it Changes ingame?

When you have no idea how a value is actually stored, try looking at it in memory, and shift around the memory using different display types and memory locations (ctrl+0...1 and left/right keyboard keys)

e.g in this case (based on the value you found and shifting around it) it looks like it's a double, but it's 2 bytes earlier. (e.g: so instead of 00400500 it's 004004fe)
This may mean that the memory is stored in an unaligned way (slow for the cpu) so scan with fastscan disabled.

Thank u so much, fastscan disabled made the correct nummer apear when I did a new search.
