How do I cheat?

Is there a way that I can test my trainer before I fully generate it? I have gotten more experience creating trainers with Cheat Engine and I have noticed that the customization is similar to Visual Basic's customization, I just don't see a test mode. :/

Save the trainer as an .ct and then play around with it and modify it as you see fit.
When done just save the table with an .exe extention
