I still wouldn't pay to get in here, and even if I would, obtaining tickets is a bitch. Was supposed to work here last year as well but worked at a different festival instead.
It's a lot prettier and the people are a lot more friendly than I had imagined. I expected to see a lot of arrogant pricks like you see at most events like this, but everybody is just so happy to be here.
Awesome to see all the people from all corners of the world wearing and waving their countries flags and dancing and partying together. Like it's some kind of world peace party.

I sometimes wonder how people who work jobs like that really feel. You get roped in because it's financial stability and that's something you're drawn to for understandable reasons but then it becomes your life and you don't have time to spend the money, or do much of anything but the job
I guess it takes a certain kind of career enjoyment to maintain in the long term, what is it that you do
edit: I'm assuming you mean there's an urgency that stops you from even being able to take time off, or is it just a somewhat regular job you don't have alternate co-workers in for shift covering?

Its kind of the second, I take in projects and manage them. So my business doesn't really run if I'm not behind both working with my co workers, meeting with clients and managing the workloads.
I can't just leave and I hate it. It is not even what I want to do.
I'm just building capital so that I can start my video games company and finally move to the USA branching my business or making a new one there.
I keep missing really good things like events, concerts, gathering with family sometimes... but I just have to keep telling myself that it will be worth it in the end.
