I know this site has some things set into motion to stop spam, like being unable to post links, or being unable to pm users. However it seems until you are deemed worthy you cant do these things, even if you have been on this site for over a year.
Can this change ? Can users who have been here for a certain amount of weeks/months be allowed to message other users and post links?
I still am unable to do these things, and I dont see why this is still in place after a year of being a member here.
Yes I know I dont know much about cheat engine, so I am not the best at answering questions about the program so I cant post as much as others, but is that a good reason to not allow me and other members like me not to be able to pm other users?
So, could this suggestion be put into motion? To allow members after a certain amount of time to automatically be able to Pm other users and post links? Please do think about it.

What about automated private message spammers that sign up and a few month later get activated?
Anyhow, if someone pm's you, you'll be able to send pm's to him from then on
As for url posting just post them in a way that doesn't trigger the detection (put spaces between dots and no http:// )
Just keep posting (not inside random spam) and eventually it'll work (as long as those posts don't get deleted)

But I am not able to pm someone first, if I need to get in contact with someone this site isnt allowing me to do so. That is the problem.
I have been on this site for over a year now, if I was some spammer dont you think I should have posted spam already? I just want to be able to pm people, not be told "I need to answer questions about EC, when I am a novice at using it myself to be of any help" Why shouldnt I be able to pm others? Just because I am a novice at using EC?
Its hard to get 25 post number when you are a novice at Ec -.- its not like I can post too much about it

Why do you need to pm someone?
Can't you just ask the question in the forum? perhaps someone else can help
Or you could ask in a topic that person has posted in assuming it's on topic(if he hasn't posted in a long time i wouldn't count on him reading his pm's anyway)
The pm restriction is also to encourage people to post in the forum (you're close)

I said why in my last post. Also I cant ask someone for help as I cant PM anyone to begin with. If I posted an off topic comment in a thread where they posted that post wouldd get trashed for being offtopic-spam, and its not like I can make a thread every time I need to contact someone.
25 is rather a high number for a post count, why cant it be 15 or something? I mean if you are a novice at CE you cant really post a lot to begin with. Would it be possible for the number to be lower?

Generalize your issues / questions then to everyone instead of a specific person. There is no reason you should need to send someone a pm specifically that can't be done in a post that is not deemed trash / spam.
And it's CE not EC.

Its not that hard to post 25 posts here, i tend to do that on just single visit. And DB must have solid reason if he has set the amount to that much, maybe you aren't the one abusing it but the world is full of big bad ugly people who abuse the services you provide (i can speak from experience running my own forums).
Besides, look at that you have 26 posts now within a week, didn't take that long for you to do that.

Yeah do enough shit posting or asking questions or posting about stuff you have no clue about, watching your post count go down when the worse off posts get seen, I somehow made it past the mark,. -.- it was hard when you dont know much of CE, I stand by that statement
Anyway, ive made my points and this thread has served its purpose.
edit: see? my post count went down to 19 from 27, this system is flawed.

The thing is, that if someone want to get PMs from complete strangers, he can add an e-mail or other contact to his profile. Some members just don't want to receive junk PMs and delete multiplayer cheat requests from their inbox that is spammed by the masses of idiots.

If anything, the authorities in here don't like me very much i keep getting my threads locked despite them being nothing but a sweet gesture, one of the member here keeps trash talking about me in his signature and still gets away with it and a lot of other shit mate thats happened in past.
And you're just complaining about your number of posts, the powers be are not fair in here and you should get used to that.
Spam again to 26 posts ? Here's an idea make 7 threads about me in this section and i guarantee you they are going to live forever

If you are posting in Random Spam section of the forum it has the chance to lower your post count at a random amount. (At least it used to, not sure if DB removed that or not.)

I did hear about that, but when I posted I saw no change - or + to the post count. If it did I'd hope their be a warning for that kind of thing.
