I've been trying to hack my health in the game Skullgirls. I tried starting with an unknown variable and decreasing it each time i lost health. Once I reached 20 or so variables that were all the same I tried forcing them to stay the same. All this resulted in was a health bar that glitched out. Could anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

I made all the values 'active' trying to force my health to be static. Since this wasn't working, I tried to find the enemies health. I ended up with 81 variables that weren't changing and changed them all to 0, and it worked surprisingly.
Edit: Changing them all to 0 killed the enemy, but how could I create infinite health?

This game is weird. Even if your health bar shows zero, you may not die if you found the right health address. In other words, the on screen value is not synced always with your real health value so what shows may not be what you really have
Check this table made by Geri, the health bar decreases but you won't die.

Because its for an old version but that wasn't my point.
My point was this game health bar acts weird. Geri is an experienced user and if he couldn't fix the health bar then that means its just how it is in this game or would require a lot of debugging to make the game sync them.
As for the enemy dying, you're not getting the point. The real value can be found, modified but the display value doesn't seem to be sync. I don't have the game to find out why but i have seen Geri say this for his table so i am assuming there must be a good reason why not.
Good luck trying to figure out if thats what you intend to do

The problem I have when searching for the 'health bar variable', is that I'm left with quite a few variables that are all decreasing at the same time whenever I take damage. I can't narrow it down to single one.
Edit: It seems to work to simply change all of the values to gain infinite health, I would love to learn how to do it proper though

1. It's a Float type value so search for that value type.
2. When you can choose characters, choose only 1 strong character, this will make your job easier. If you play with more weak characters, it is more complicated, because the HP is divided between them.
Btw if I remember correctly, the health bar graphical problem happens only when you are using more characters instead of 1 and it wasn't fixed, because I couldn't care less as long as I don't die.
