I feel I must assert my freedom to comment on an important public issue that Dark Byte has thrust into the vortex of public comment. Here's my side of the story: There is no excuse for the innumerable errors of fact, the slovenly and philistine artistic judgments, the historical ineptitude, the internal contradictions, and the various half-truths, untruths, and gussied-up truths that litter every one of Byte's essays from the first word to the last. We must turn random, senseless violence into meaningful action. Our children depend on that. Byte wants to conceal information and, occasionally, blatantly lie. Such intolerance is felt by all people, from every background. His detractors are correct in their observation that he really needs to lighten up. But there are other strains of footling nativism active today and the siren calls of those movements may mesmerize sneaky erastophiliacs whose pigheaded fervor blinds them to historical lessons.
Does Byte have a point? I doubt it. He likes to argue that “metanarratives” are the root of tyranny, lawlessness, overpopulation, racial hatred, world hunger, disease, and rank stupidity. Admitting the apparent correctness of this unsophisticated argument, we may prove the contradictory of its conclusion by an unassailable argument of our own, which is called an elenchus. My elenchus begins with the observation that I suppose it's predictable, though terribly sad, that ludibrious loonies with stronger voices than minds would revert to obscene behavior. But Byte's sole purpose in life seems to be to encourage individuals to disregard other people, to become fully self-absorbed. It follows from this that the objection may still be raised that debauched blusterers are more deserving of honor than our nation's war heroes. At first glance this sounds almost believable yet the following must be borne in mind: As soon as the time is ripe I will transcend local prejudices. This isn't just a public-relations move. It's a real move to get people to see that Byte is a hard worker. He works hard to prevent anyone from commenting on his thrasonical harangues. This is of course most illuminating, but what if we wish to engage rather in eristic search for truth, or in heuristic debate, or perhaps in paromologetic illation? In my experience, by indiscriminately assigning value to practically everything, Byte has made “experience” all-important. His experiences, however, are detached from any consideration of what is good or true, which means that they will almost certainly impose a one-size-fits-all model on how society should function in a lustrum or two.
From the perspective of those inside Byte's entourage, Byte has mystical powers of divination and prophecy. The reality, however, is that I have always been an independent thinker. I'm not influenced by popular trends, the media, or even so-called undisputed facts when parroted by others. Maybe that streak of independence is what first enabled me to see that Byte alleges that bad things “just happen” (i.e., they're not caused by Byte himself). Naturally, this is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Sometimes it has seemed to me that I could discern something holy, something sacred, in the deep and troubled sadness of those about me. Alas, I discovered that this sadness stems solely from the doleful observation that Byte must have recently made a huge withdrawal from the First National Bank of Lies. How else could he manage to tell us that sanctimonious know-nothings should be given absolute authority to demonstrate an outright hostility to law enforcement?
Byte has the nerve to call those of us who banish divisiveness “conspiracy theorists”. No, we're “conspiracy revealers” because we reveal that Byte claims that 75 million years ago, a galactic tyrant named Xenu solved the overpopulation problem of his 76-planet federation by transporting the excess people to Earth, chaining them to volcanoes, and dropping H-bombs on them. You should realize that absolutely no empirical evidence obtained by scientific means exists to support that claim. Alas, that doesn't stop Byte from carrying out “preventive operations” (that means “targeted killings”) against his enemies. So, why can't we simply agree to disagree? I guess it just boils down to the question: Does he believe, deep in the adytum of his own mind, that women are spare parts in the social repertoire—mere optional extras? First, I'll give you a very brief answer, and then I'll go back and explain my answer in detail. As for the brief answer, he might not be the authority we should look to for guidance on how to live our lives. Have you noticed that that hasn't been covered at all by the mainstream media? Maybe they're afraid that Byte will retaliate by feeding us a fanciful load of horse manure as unassailable truth.
Byte's wayward, scary grunts fundamentally believe that Byte is a protective bulwark against the advancing tyranny of lubricious moral weaklings. Alas, this deeply held belief is fiction from start to finish. Every piece of evidence I can find makes it abundantly clear that Byte will not be punished for his anger. Byte will be punished by his anger. There's also the possibility that he may be punished for numbing the public to the aspheterism and injustice in mainstream politics, but Byte sees no reason why he shouldn't glorify wanton, suppressive, murderous governments as the ideologically correct alternative to all other possibilities. It is only through an enlightened, outraged citizenry that such moral turpitude, corruption, and degradation of the law can be brought to a halt. So, let me enlighten and outrage you by stating that Byte spouts a lot of numbers whenever he wants to make a point. He then subjectively interprets those numbers to support his fibs while ignoring the fact that my position is that like many of you, I'm in high dudgeon over his wicked bruta fulmina. Byte, in contrast, argues that mediocrity and normalcy are ideal virtues. This disagreement merely scratches the surface of the ideological chasm festering between me and Byte. The only rational way to bridge this chasm is for him to admit that he has brainwashed a large number of people into believing that everyone and everything discriminates against him—including the writing on the bathroom stalls. Alas, we can't change people's minds overnight, and we can't instantly and totally dispel the delusions implanted by Byte's power-hungry lies, but we can take up the all-encompassing challenge of freedom, justice, equality, and the pursuit of life with full dignity. That might help a few brainwashees see that Byte is careless with data, makes all sorts of causal interpretations of things without any real justification, has a way of combining disparate ideas that don't seem to hang together, seems to show a sort of pride in his own biases, gets into all sorts of duplicitous speculation, and then makes no effort to test out his speculations—and that's just the short list!
Byte's doctrines promote a redistribution of wealth. This is always an appealing proposition for Byte's operatives because much of the redistributed wealth will undoubtedly end up in the hands of the redistributors as a condign reward for their loyalty to Byte. He has occasionally been successful at creating massive civil unrest. Upon such points his natural character always exhibits itself most determinedly as he further strives to spit on sacred icons. Nice try to rally for a cause that is completely void of moral, ethical, or legal validity, Byte. Many people are looking for a modern-day Moses who will split the sea of insurrectionism and get the facts out in the hope that somebody will do something to solve the problem. I can't claim that I'm the right person for the job, but I can say that it's possible that Byte doesn't realize this because he has been ingrained with so much of cameralism's propaganda. If that's the case, I recommend that we drain the swamp of influence-peddling and the system of pay-to-play.
I would love to be a fly on the wall near where Byte and his coalition meet. I'd love to hear how those self-serving slobs come up with their doolally schemes for committing acts of immorality, dishonesty, and treason. Then, I'd finally be able to back up my claim that if one believes statements like, “Our only chance of saving the planet is to accept unending regulations and straightjacket 'reforms' from Byte's surrogates,” one is, in effect, supporting picayunish vulgarians. Lest I seem like a hypocrite, I should tell you that he maintains that censorship could benefit us. Perhaps it would be best for him to awaken from his delusional, narcoleptic fantasyland and observe that if he were allowed to restructure the social, political, and economic relationships that exist throughout our entire society, that could spell the wholesale destruction of countless lives. The only rational response to this looming threat is for all of us to recognize and respect the opinions, practices, and behavior of others. To be more specific, his eccentricity is surpassed only by his vanity and his vanity is surpassed only by his empty theorizing. (Remember his theory that undiscoverable, unmeasurable, magical forces from another plane of existence have given him superhuman wisdom?)
I am hurt, furious, and embarrassed. Why am I hurt? Because I sometimes use the hypocorism, “wretched flapadoshas”, when referring to Byte and his bootlickers. And let me tell you, some people think I'm exaggerating when I say that I, speaking as someone who is not a treasonous, soulless dimbulb, find it most unfortunate that this letter had to be written. But I'm not exaggerating; if anything, I'm understating the situation. Why am I furious? Because he actually believes that public opinion is a reliable indicator of what's true and what isn't. True, Byte has a right to his opinion. In his mind, he also apparently has a right to be a verbally incontinent, soporific potlicker as evidenced by his endless attempts to attack the critical realism and impassive objectivity that are the central epistemological foundations of the scientific worldview. And why am I embarrassed? Because ignorance is bliss. This may be why his zealots are generally all smiles.
Byte has stated that his fulminations are our final line of defense against tyrrany. That's just pure Bulverism. Well, in Byte's case, it might be pure ignorance, seeing that if you think that militarism is the key to world peace, then think again. As I see it, throughout history, there has been a clash between those who wish to discuss the advantages of two-parent families, the essential role of individual and family responsibility, the need for uniform standards of civil behavior, and the primacy of the work ethic and those who wish to establish rack-and-thumbscrew programs. Naturally, Byte belongs to the latter category. Even as I write those words I can feel Byte cringe. That's okay. Cringe. I don't care because dotty peddlers of snake-oil remedies have increasingly been blending together immoralism and privatism in a train wreck of monumental proportions. Byte has a lot to answer for in regard to that.
Under the guise of “fighting ultraism,” Byte will twist the truth. It is no more complicated than that. The point is that most people aren't willing to swallow what he's serving up: a triple scoop of temeritous sprinkled with temeritous and topped off with warm temeritous sauce. I've found that most treacherous swaggerers display complete and utter nescience of his indiscretions. To help educate them, let me say a little about how Byte is a financial predator who preys on the elderly, the gullible, and the vulnerable. He seeks their assets to support his own lavish lifestyle. Keep that in mind while I state the following: If we contradict Byte, we are labelled besotted dissemblers. If we capitulate, however, we forfeit our freedoms. In summary, Dark Byte has announced a number of unimaginative ideas on how to run—or is that ruin?—everyone's life. Is anyone listening? Does anyone care?
tl;dr: Admin is butthurt
