How do I cheat?

I was trying to hack a online game and i found the value for the gold coins but when i change the value on cheat engine the go back to the game and try to buy something nothing happens it get set back to the original value ???

i found three memories for same value and when i changed all three with same number the games change it that too but when am try to buy some thing it re-change to original value

Can some one help me change the value ??

Online cheating is explicitly disallowed on these forums.
