When highlighted, that red X turns black. Midnight. #000.
Is there a setting for this in Cheat Engine, or is it a Windows 7 SP1 setting?

you could change your highlight color in your windows 7 theme to be lighter
But honestly, just adjust your display's contrast as I can still see it clearly checked in that image

In the first image? Well, yes, my monitor contrast is set rather low. But the X in the first image isn't readily visible to me on my phone, either, so you must have much better eyes. #0A246A (the highlight color) is 75% of the way to black. If Cheat Engine is setting the color of the highlighted X (for some reason?), should it not also set the highlight background color?
Alright, I'll try changing my theme. I was reluctant, as that affects more than just Cheat Engine.
Edit: Eaurgh. I'd have to choose a color that works for both black (the checkbox) and white (the text), or change the highlighted text color to something dark.

The greenish makes my eyes strain to see the black, the bluish makes them strain to read the white, and the magenta just hurts.
Also, while I was exploring other options, I found that the 6.3 source code isn't up, and the links to the older versions 404.
