Cheat Engine

I am not sure what happened but I restarted my computer, went to log back into Europa Universalis 4 and opened up the downloaded script off of these forums (which I have used plenty before) and now I am unable to check the box to open up all of the rest of the script.

Things I have done:
1. Checked other Scripts for other games, and all are encountering this issue now.
2. Removed said scripts and downloaded a fresh copy. (same issue)
3. Verified that the scripts match the current version of the games.
4. Removed and downloaded a fresh Cheat Engine 6.3.

I'm looking for possible solutions.

Does CE's functionality work otherwise? Can you successfully search for and change values? What happens if you write your own scripts?

Yes, I am able to search out values in the game and modify them myself with the program. Just unable to activate any pre-made scripts after restarting my computer. There wasn't any Windows updates when I rebooted either.

Addition: after restarting the game's .exe file, the same issues with being able to use the same lines (unable to check the boxes) applies. I would have to search out the values and reenter them each and every time, as things currently stand.

Then, almost certainly, you're using a version of the game that the table wasn't made for. Even if the version number is the same, the table could've been made for a copy that came from a different source. Really, even a dependency could've changed (eg, new version of a C runtime from Windows update or something) and caused a cheat to stop working. Your best bet is to laern to fix the scripts up yourself.

On each of the scripts, I double clicked on the value <script> and then clicked okay. On every script it is saying there is a error on the line with the (alloc(MyCode,####,"gamename.exe"))

While in that screen, however, I did see that all 4 of these scripts are for the most current game version, for their respective games. What could cause the program to not recognize the game's .exe file in the script?

I know it has to be on my computer's end, just have no clue where to look to see what's blocking the program now after that PC restart.
