Hi all. This might be a little bit too advanced for me, but is there a way to copy one weapon's structure to another one? Lets say I have ammo in clip for a grenade launcher and a rifle. The code for ammo is ecx+10. So I remove 10 from both of those addresses and I view the structure of ammo related things and all that stuff. Is it possible to copy one structure to another? You are probably wondering where I got this idea from.
A guy on a forum (for memory editing gamehacking in general, not cheat engine specifically.) said the following on an old topic:

make a screenshot of memory location where pulse is stored (bullet barrel).
now find grenades and replace the memory location, it is hard, because most is in FLOAT. try using artmoney.

Now how do you change the location where the address is stored if that makes any sense? What is this guy talking about? Also is that some sort of function that only ArtMoney can do? Any answers would be appreciated.
Also the actual goal of this is that I'm trying to find ammo type for the game Aliens vs Predator. If you have any other idea of how to find the type of ammo a gun uses in a game please feel free to post. (This is specifically reffering to a gun which has a secondary option to shoot grenades out of the barrel. The barrel appears to have its own unique structure that is different from the rifle itself. There are also other guns in the game that shoot fire and larger sniper bullets.) |
