SOLUTION: Offsets were off by 1. Credits to Methos!

Emulator: Visual Boy Advance (1.8.0 beta3)
Modifying: X and Y Position of Each Kirby
Oddity: Yellow and Green Kirby's X-Position

(Of course, I suppose it's unorthodox how I'm using CE on an emulator when it already has a built-in Cheat search system, but I just feel comfortable using CE!)

Explanation:

I've already acquired the static addresses for all of the Kirbies' (is that even the right plural word?) X- and Y-Positions, but there's something rather bizarre about Yellow and Green.

Normally, their value types would have to be 4-Byte in order to look right (if it's done with 2-Byte or Byte, the value would rise up too quickly and keep reaching to the max, and looping back to 0, and if done with 8-byte...well, it's just a bigger-version of 4-byte, so what's the point). However, in this case, the X-Position of Yellow and Green work perfectly fine in 2-Byte. It looks a lot more manageable, and I wish I could do the same with the other addresses, but of course, I've already explained what happens when I do it.

What would be the solution to making the other addresses work like the Yellow and Green X-Position? If it requires a script (which unfortunately I have not gotten the hang of it yet), what would it be?

Just another oddity to note, though: While I was in the process of finding Pink Kirby's X- and Y-Positions, they also worked perfectly fine in 2-Byte, which is odd considering they weren't static addresses!

Doesn't look all that good, sadly! (Same case with Doubles)

Your offsets are off, too...are you sure you are working from the proper address?

Alright, so here's what I'm assuming the procedure is supposed to be:

1) Create the 2 Byte Big Endian value type.
2) Change the 4-byte value types (that are not Yellow and Green X-Positions) to the new endian value type.

I did that, but the problem is, it's having the same issue as just a normal 2-Byte Value Type! I even tried to just straight up search for the address, again, with that value type, and I can't find any...

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I was working from the proper address (which is 005A8F50), but then when I checked the offsets after you mentioned about them, I just suddenly realize there was a mistake that made me feel like an idiot!

You're actually right, the offsets are off...by one. Literally, I had to increase the 4-Byte offsets by one to make them work properly in 2-Byte.

Much appreciation, Methos!
