|
|
Is it somehow possible to manually filter out (delete) addresses?
Reason I'm asking is because I have a bunch of addresses in my Pointer Scan (732 to be exact), which all point to the value I'm looking for, but the first few seconds when entering the area most of them show up as
or
or something other than the value (which in my case is a floater value) I'm looking for.
Here are screens to better show what I mean:

You can do a delayed rescan and try to time precisely when you're going to enter the area
You can also do a repeating rescan that will rescan continuously
(just make sure the value doesn't change)

Hmm yeah the value changing is the problem. It changes every time I re-enter the area i.e
first time I'm in the area: 02ABE74C = 1050.1176
after re-entering the same area: 02B12964 = 1077.6558
I'm trying to scan for a monsters X-position but the moment I enter the monster already most of the times takes a few steps, or else I would rescan for a value of the monsters current position instead of an address.
I'd have to be really lucky and quick with the rescan when searching for the value :/
Edit: Just rescanned using value instead of address and even though I was spot on with the value, none of my existing addresses pointed towards the value, resulting in 0 pointercounts.

The rescan has an option to filter out the ones that turn ?? without checking the value. It won't filter out the values that are 0 though.
You could try a lua filter for this
Execute this lua code
| Code: |
function RescanFilter(base, offets, target)
if target==nil then
return false
end
local f=readFloat(target)
return (f>1000) and (f<2000)
end
|
and then just tick the lua filter option (Just leave the filtername RescanFilter )
it'll filter out unreadable pointers and values that are smaller than 1000 and bigger than 2000
combine it with "Only filter out invalid pointers"

Yeah my bad, just noticed that option. It helps a bit but not much since most return a 0 and other values.
Alright, thx! I'll give it a try.
Edit: Stupid question, but where do I enter the lua code?
Edit2: Nvm, I think I got it
Edit3: Awesome! I'm now down to 16 Base Addresses. Tyvm!!
