Hi i have a question,Can i hack a game by a cheat code?
because i have a cheat code for a game that adds money but i cant hack the money itself by CE.
and is it possible to change a cheat code? e.g. changing "baguvix" to "health"??

and also can we hack a trainer?

1 - You could search the game for boolean values (1 when the cheat is enabled, 0 when it's disabled) to try to see what's changing. You may need to use an unknown scan and then changed/unchanged instead.

2 - Well you could search the game/binary for instances of the string BAGUVIX and find what accesses them to see which one is read/compared when entering the cheat code, then change it to another word... but then you'd need to either use the trainer to keep editing the game each time it's run (so you might as well just use a trainer with lots of codes in the first place), or unpack the executable, hex edit it, then optionally repack it.

3 - Uh, yeah but be more specific?

For example if an existing trainer sets money to 9999 change it to 99999.
You might say well hack the game instead but the game can't be hacked but I have a trainer for it!

If there's a trainer then the game can be hacked.

Run the Cheat Engine tutorial (it installs alongside CE itself) and it'll step you through a lot of stuff.
