Cheat Engine

So I downloaded 6.3 and at first it said it was a virus but I saw a post that said to ignore it so I did but now I cannot go on the internet. I did a system restore and that fixed it so I figured it was a problem with 6.3 so I downloaded 6.2 hoping that there would be no problems but 6.2 does the same thing. I'm not sure how to fix this. Does cheat engine keep me offline?

When installing, do not install any of the extra offers. (click on the left skip button if it has one, and if not make sure you select nothing)
If it still does that no idea. The download page contains a link to a version without installer in case that is the culprit.

Alternatively(extremely unlikely...), it could be your system is infected with a virus that disables itself to prevent detection/reversing by cheat engine, in doing so breaks it's packet/password sniffer it has installed on the network card
