i have a laptop that has a 256mb GPU ( NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M)
i wa wondering is there is a way to use physical ram or virtual memory to add another 256+ to that. (i do have multiple usb flash drives and external hd's if it require something like that).

Latitude E6500
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9900 @ 3.06GHz
NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M
4 GB of ram
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 64-bit

If you are asking if it's possible to add storage of your graphic card into an
HDD the answer is no. The built-in storage is the only thing that works.
You can SLI and buy another GPU exactly the same as the one you have to double it, but it's an old GPU so i think not
