Sorry, could not respond to the last thread due to the "You cannot double post yet" constraint.

I've noticed now that cheat engine doesn't seem to stop logging (or it is taking forever for the second attack to be executed). I have been logging for about 20 minutes, and cheat engine seems to have stopped logging, though its memory usage seems to be climbing still:



Stop Condition: EIP == 0x00A7EB52
Trace Count: 2147483647
Checked: Dereference Addresses (Slows down)
Target: MKKE.exe

The game is still non-responsive (MK Komplete Edition), and the memory is climbing on cheat engine (is it normal to take so long?). I have verified that EIP is set to that address when it is stepped over in the debugger (trace and break has been set on 00A7EB60), so that stop condition should fire and stop the trace. Maybe the game doesn't like to be traced, or has crashed and cheat engine is unaware? Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

It looks like it's still logging. But it's inside that last call (Expand it completely to see)

in memory view you can do view->debug events and see what's going on

Heh possibly (ya I'm sure it is logging under that node), though maybe it is all kinds of directx/opengl stuff being logged (loops and such). Still going with near 700mb of memory usage. I just didn't think all that would be between the 2 attacks (used to emulator trace logging lol). Perhaps this game is just not the best test subject for this kind of logging (trying to simplify making hit anywhere for pc games). I'll let it go a bit longer before I give up on it.

you could add some modules to donottrace.txt so it won't trace into those modules.
