So I was trying to add in more minions using CE now I can't get blue minions anymore. Greens come out of the blue hole, reds come out of the green hole and browns come out of the red and brown hole. Wondering if anybody had that before and fixed it or I gotta restart :X

Hope you made a (manual) backup of your save before corrupting it. If not, you're pretty much screwed. I speak from experience

I tried hacking minions but it's not as easy at it looks. Each and every minion is unique and the variables of each minion are stored in a big array. If you want to increase the minions you need to add data to the array as well if not you'll inevitably corrupt your game.

Personally, I hacked the upgrade weapon/armor thing to not substract any minions whenever I used it. Perhaps the instruction can even be reversed I don't remember. By the way, there is an invulnerable minions trainer around for that version of the game.

i forgot to backup not knowing it worked like that haha its fine i will restart it. Or you got a save file of before entering the sewers ?

I am guessing that's a restart since everything goes into the saves in this one - more or less.
Why don't you just use a cheat table like this?

i didn't know it worked that way so i didn't bother searching a table up haha

Quite a lot of games have tables or AA scripts uploaded in the forum.
Search works pretty well, so it's a good idea to start with that before starting duplicate work...
However, if you intend to do this for learning, then using these is counter-productive

This is one of the reasons to backup saves before trying things.

I played this game a while back and i saw that minions that picked up items retained them in the next level. That means that the number of minions is most likely a result of the count of actual minion objects stored in memory arrays.
So, if you change that count value without actually generating new minions the result would be accessing unrelated data. (Or just crash)
And if that got saved who knows what other data has been corrupted in the save.(perhaps the quest flag to finish the game has been given a sword..., or an npc has been clubbed to death like a baby seal)

So yes, it's best to restart

It reminds me "knives quantity" thing from Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Instead of changing array (or list, or collection), I changed getCount method behavior. And only if called from one known function.
