Cheat Engine

So,I just downloaded Cheat Engine 6.3 and tried using it to speedhack.When I change the arrow to a new speed and press apply nothing happens.I'm not sure if there is something stopping me from speedhacking.I'm also using Windows 8.

Well, can you do /anything/ at all to the thing you're attaching to? Like scan for values in RAM and find them and edit them.

If not, then you're not attached to the right process. Common problem with flash and browser stuff. Gotta' attach to either flash, or the process that controls the tag the game is in.

Or the game has an anti-cheat if it's not a browser based game. Pretty sure I've used speedhack before to fast forward uplink, although not 100% sure on that.
