To clarify, what Dark Byte means is that, unlike Windows, on iOS it's not possible for applications to gain the rights needed to take control of each other unless the system is hacked and additional software installed ("jailbroken" at the least).

This is notably unlike Windows and Linux (and to a degree, Android, being Linux-based, despite how the phone companies try), where you don't need to hack anything on your average distro to allow programs to obtain these rights.

For example google igameguardian.
