DBVM completely freezes my PC?

Tried to run it in "help" and it just completely froze my PC. I had avast disabled, but it could still be a problem. should I just completely remove avast?

Also, it's recommended to remove everything.

Thanks. It seems avast was really shitting me out, I un-installed it, and it worked fine!
