Hi everyone. I tried to find the address where the text was stored in notepad++ and I failed miserably.
I can find an address with the value of what is written on my file, but whenever I change it the text on notepad++ stay unmodified. Any idea why?
I tried with notepad too but I couldn't even find an address. What i do is open a file in notepad, writes "testing", save, then open notepad in cheat engine and look for the string "testing", but there is no result...

Worked just fine for me. Notepad++ just didn't update to reflect the edits until I clicked back in it's window.

You are right... I feel so stupid -_-
Another question... since notepad++ can have multiples tab open at the same time, is it possible to get a pointer that will have the values of all opened tabs string?
I'm not sure what I should look for... I'd like to make a program that would display:
file1: string1
file2: string2
file3: string3
etc... for all files opened.
This seems hard to do because I don't understand how there could be so many addresses (since there can be an "infinite" amount of files opened in notepad++).
I guess I should ask in the programming forum but I thought I,d ask here anyway since I already opened a thread...
