Do you know how to make windows minimize to the system tray?
I had this tool called RBTray that would make right clicking the minimize button send a window to the system tray instead, but it isn't compatible with most programs anymore and hasn't been updated since 2011.
I like doing this with stuff that runs in the background that I don't want to see, like miners or thunderbird etc. so I'm kinda bummed.

this one works fine in windows 8

programming your own would be a waste of time.
I did research on how to hide apps completely and make them look like windows services though (for recreational purpose of course :3)
