I want to make a script that automatically changes a value (spell) when you enable it, however for the life of me I can't figure out how to make my lua script write to "DATA.exe"+00FDFDF4 offset +17c

If I could figure out how to access the cheat table cheatentry and just change that value or save the address as a global like ['spell'] so I could do writeInteger('["spell"]+17c', newSpell)

I just can't figure it out after a day of trying to figure it out myself, thanks for any help.

Not sure about this, but I think the string "[DATA.exe+00FDFDF4]+17C" is a valid address. So the code
Code:
spell = "[DATA.exe+00FDFDF4]+17C"
writeInteger(spell, newSpell)

should work.
