Hello everyone, first time poster here, but I was hoping for a bit of help making a cheat I am trying out. I would say I understand pointers well enough as I can get this cheat to work, but one of the variables is changing and I don't know an easy update to fix the pointers.
The line that stops me is this:
mov esi,[ecx+edx*4]
I need to know the value for edx in order to calculate the offset in this step. The attached image shows what I have so far as best as I can. If there were a way to simply pull the edx value from this, then the next set of pointers would all work.
The offset is always:

0
C
8
(random)
C
the static address that starts this chain is: 101338d0 aka: RGSS102E.dll+1338D0
I have read other pages here with similar issues saying code injection is the answer, but I am not as familiar with it. Any attempt I have made so far just crashes the game.
PS. Ignore the 9D8 value in the image as that is the random one. It is not the correct pointer this time.
