|

Okay so, I write a lot of Auto Assembler scripts and I think it would save me a lot of time in the long run if there was another aobscan command called aobscan_ex or whatever you'd like to call it!
Here's an example of what I mean:
Is it possible to implement such a thing without too much hassle? Let me clarify a bit...
aobscan_ex alternate aobscan for cheat engine Auto Assembler,
would automatically define a label for you [by appending something to the end perhaps, id suggest 'Addr' or '1'... as well as register
it as a symbol as well kind of like how global alloc creates a registered symbol for you!
In the example script shown above the savings are only two lines, but over time it I believe would save me good time and good typing!
P.S. you would still need to unregister the symbol manually but I'm okay with that, that's why just name it consistent and it'll be really neat I thought about implementing it myself, but would be cooler if it was part of CE so then scripts like this could work for everyone rather than just my custom version of CE (if I were to implement it myself from CE source )
Thanks for your help Dark Byte

That label part is not necessary in 6.3. There you can directly use registersymbol on the aobscan result(it is already a label there)

Well thank you for implementing that feature! I've now tested it and it works great!
And here is that script shown above now using this knowledge:
The above script by registering the aobscan as the symbol rather than having to make a new label and register that, I find is very convenient!
I just wasn't aware that this came to be since 6.3! Thanks for enlightening me I'll be using this now!
