Well, in a neutral perspective this is possible with real money. A bank could have gotten hacked big time into their clients accounts, but you can be assured a bank wouldn't do this in such a crude manner and there would be all the proper documentation.

I am just simply stating that if buttcoin were to be taken seriously, then this method would not exist.

you know its not bitcoins fault that a guy got hacked? you also know its not the currencies fault if the guy wants to personally give back the bitcoin to the people he thinks lost it, if anything it shows how much this person actually cares, and that it is worth taking seriously

why take USD seriously when banks can shut down with your money and will NOT let you get it back

I take USD seriously as you always have the option to not use a bank; where buttcoin (even if you keep in a offline wallet located on a piece of paper in real life) can easily be destroyed depending on a number of exploits/attacks on the network.

and people can break into your house and rob you, or you can get mugged, or your PHYSICAL money can be PHYSICALLY destroyed or worn down after a period of time (most money does not stay in circulation for long, which is why its printed so often)
there's positives and negatives for both, and btc wont take over USD, its an alternative that fulfills different needs, so far nothing major has happened to btc where the entire system has had to shut down, if any of this was actually a big deal, people wouldn't still be buying & selling btc, and some stores accepting it
