No cheats for multi-player games. Now I wish to get clerification on this.
My understanding is that the target of these rules are for MMOs and such played by untold numbers of players globally at any one time.
So I wish to know if this is true and I would in fact be allowed to post cheat tables for games that can be played by say.. 10 people at once in a co-op setting. AI Wars is the game in question and I just finished the single player portion of the table and wish to know if that is the limit or if I can begin including cheat functions that would assist multiplayer co-op play. The game itself does not even support player vs player at all.

No, people tend to bitch about seeing other people cheat even if they are in their own team

They bitch because they can't do what the cheater does.
That's why if you're making hacks for multiplayer, don't make it 'shout' "LOOK IM A HACKER, NOW BUTTHURT".
But ugh, hacking multiplayer game which usually server sides most of the stuff, is a huge pain.

No, they bitch because their otherwise "clean" progress is "corrupted" by cheaters. I know guys who are not cheating in single player games either, because they just don't like cheating. Even though they could do without any sanctions. Some people are thinking that the games should be played as they are and though I don't share their opinion, in single player games, we couldn't care less about this. In multiplayer games, it will cause a problem. Even in co-op. Not all humans are 100% identical. Some people like cheating, some people hate them.
It can be more serious if you screw up their stats or something, because if you screw up the precious stats of some stat whore who is not cheating, you can be sure that he will whine to support until you get a ban.
Frankly, you can't blame them. They are using the software as it is intended, cheaters are the ones who are ignoring the rules.

One example of this is borderlands 2 which had a quite peculiar bug. It contained a flag that when set, if you died your character would get deleted.
Weird(kinda funny) thing was that for some reason anyone playing with someone with that flag set also got it set on their character as well.
It was the best virtual STD ever(only play with people you know and make sure they also do that). But yeah, as you might expect, not everyone liked losing their character when they died
