Could do but I haven't settled on a modpack or if I should even use one.
The new tekkit blows and voltz is only good for mass pvp, so I'm considering going back to vanilla and making it a hardcore survival rp.
Suggestions?

Yeah, make it like when you die you have to wait some time in order to get back on the server. Maybe like a jail server or smth.

I agree with you, locking them out sounds dumb, however I do like the idea of imprisoning players who have a bounty on their head when they die, they'd just have a way of breaking out because not being able to play would be boring.
