Hello everyone,

I recently downloaded the Android app player Bluestacks and I am trying to use Cheat Engine 6.3 to cheat on the game Plague Inc. I enabled the MEM_MAPPED, Use kernelmode debugger, (yes, my computer supports DBVM) and the Query memory region routines and Read/Write Process Memory options, and when I go to scan the Physical Memory, I simply get the bsod, seemingly without the scan ever starting. I have tried scanning it without Bluestacks open, and I get the same result. Is there anything I can do to stop this crash?

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core i3 2350M @ 2.30GHz
RAM: 4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz

The technical information on the blue screen reads:
*** STOP: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA800665D028, 0x00000000FE200000, 0x0000000000041136)

I am also using a Sony VAIO Laptop and Avast! Free Antivirus, if that is relevant.

That awkward moment when nobody replies, so you double post... Embarassed

Is it because this is such an easy fix that I look dumb posting about it?
Could it be that nobody really knows why this happens?
Am I but a lost noob that should not be playing with such powerful tools?
Are you fellows too busy to deal with such minor issues?
Was Joe Bob really innocent?
Will I ever know? ~

Try scanning any other process that's not physical memory and scan all the memory with kernelmode and query memory

I don't know if this will help, but I usually only get bluescreens when enabling DBVM while connected to a process. If you haven't, try starting cheat engine and enabling DBVM before opening a process...

you don't even need dbvm to scan physical memory
