Cheat Engine

Hey guys, I hope I am posting in the right area. I have been looking at youtube videos on "How to make a trainer with Cheat Engine" and they all show how to make the trainer the same way, which is once you find the value you want to change you set it to a hot key, and pressing the hotkey does something.

What I want to do is using the CE trainer layout editor to use the button option to do what pressing a hotkey would do. So rather than using the hotkey method, a person using the trainer I want to make, pressing a button, say "Give me 245,000 Iron", gives them that amount. I can't figure out how to find what the hotkey does and add it to the on button click event of my button.
