THE BEGINNING

Let us start at the beginning. First, there was nothing; and empty void that held the potential for a vast amount of life. From this void, immense amounts of energy congealed into a being of abysmal power. As time passed by, he began to be known as “Dark Byte”. His omnipresence permeated the entire void. Streaming from his uncontrollable power came a small world, of which Dark Byte had complete control. The immortal being was forced to linger in time and space for eternity. The world that had unknowingly sprung from his power was barren and void of life (just as the universe that it resided in). For numerous millennial, the useless world remained silent; grounded to a period of uselessness. Dark Byte had grown weary of the void. With his incomprehensible power, he forged a great universe, composed of innumerable amounts of stars and galaxies. Though he had created billions of worlds, he had not forsaken the original world, which sprung from his raw power unintentionally. He called this world “Cheat Engine Forums”. Dark Byte knew that he must inhabit this knew world. The concept of life was new and confusing to Dark Byte. Simple, single-celled organisms were just beginning to grow on other planets, but with this planet, he wanted to create something never seen before. With the same force that he had used to create the limitless universe, he focused it into a much smaller area. This life was different from others. No longer was life confined to single-celled, simplistic structure. Unknowingly, this new form of life would cause Dark Byte much stress, turmoil, and eventually his downfall.

WH1T3Y, JORDAN, AND THE RISE OF THE MODS

The first of her kind was known as “wh1t3y”. She was the first of many “Queen of men”. Her authority was untested, and she ruled by absolute fear. All were forced to acquiesce to her divine lineage, for she was the only descendant of Dark Byte. Dark Byte continued to create more and more humans. As wh1t3y's followers began to grow, she challenged Dark Byte. Her power was corrupt, and cost her her life. As her soul faded from Cheat Engine Forums, it ascended into Dark Byte's personal area known as the “Admin's Control Panel”. Her rule was short lived, and the time of queens was ended. It was time for man to rule man. Dark Byte summoned the divine power to create one more being. This being of great power was known as “Jordan”. He was the first of a group of people called the “Mods.” Still to this day, they hold more power than any other human (other than Dark Byte, of course). By now, mankind no longer relied on Dark Byte to create people; they had discovered how to create their own people, with the help of their fellow man. Dark Byte instructed Jordan to go out into the world of Cheat Engine Forums and find 12 of the greatest men that exist. He was to take them as his followers, and grant them power to control others. The 12 mods and the 1 alpha mod moved through the world and gathered as many followers as they could. Naturally, there were those who turned against Dark Byte. Many other followings were constructed, but none could ever match the might that Dark Byte's had achieved. In the following years, many would flock to his cause. Even though they were all loyal to Dark Byte, their true leader was Jordan. These impetuous followers became known as noobs. Though their numbers would grew immensely through the years, they never rose through any ranks. As always, there are exceptions to the rules. A few of the noobs became so great as to be known as “elites.” These were noobs that had learned from their mistakes and gave Dark Byte the well deserved reverence that so many noobs forgot. Millions of years had passed, but Dark Byte failed to convert all. Many weak, and most of all, erroneous followings crowded the world. Dark Byte's following was fading into darkness. He had created Cheat Engine Forums, and none but him and his followers could inhabit this planet.

THE GREAT DELETION AND THE COMING OF THE HOBO

Dark Byte went to Jordan, and spoke to him. He told him that soon he would wipe clean the world of useless noobs, and false followings. He also instructed him to build a great sub forum that could withstand the cleansing of the land. Jordan went forth and built a great sub forum named “Cheat Engine UG” (underground). Only a select few were allowed to enter; those chosen to be worthy, according to Dark Byte. Jordan, the mods, and a few of the elites descended into the UG. There, they were protected by the inevitable cleansing of CEF. With those who needed to be saved safe, Dark Byte ascended to his Admin Control Panel. There, he deleted every account that was not in the usergroup “UG.” The cleansing had ended. When Jordan and the chosen others left the UG, they were met with a barren CEF, completely devoid of life. Dark Byte came to the lonely followers. As he descended from the legendary Admin Control Panel in the sky, his glory was met with severe reverence. He spoke of a son; one that would bring legions of followers back to CEF. His glory would be sung from the highest mountain. As life began to bloom once more on the planet of Cheat Engine Forums, noobs comprised most of this population. Contrary to last time, this time they were met with only one leader to follow. No longer were there huge masses of unguided followings. The choice was either to accept Dark Byte as the supreme and all mighty “All Father”, or to roam the land of CEF, lacking a true purpose. The noobs flocked to Dark Byte, and his following was as strong as ever. Dark Byte ascended back into the Admin Control Panel, and ruled for quite a long time. Dark Byte began to grow weak; his energy was fading away. To carry on his iron will, Dark Byte created one final being. He had learned from his lessons. No longer would the kings of men be ruthless and powerful. This final being would be meek, but all would bow to him. His divine lineage would be honored. Power had faded form the earth, and modesty and austerity were prized. This weak king, the final descendant of Dark Byte, was known as “The Hobo.”

REVELATIONS

Dark Byte had faded from the planet of Cheat Engine Forums. The perpetual force that existed in him can now only exist in the Admin Control Panel. Though he can never return to CEF, he is always watching. His body is gone, but his soul permeates the entire fabric of space and time. His only living descendant remains The Hobo. One day, Dark Byte will return to wipe clear CEF from the build up of noobs. Destruction will rain from the heavens and all shall fall, except the truly devout. Let us praise Dark Byte, and remain faithful. Abdicate thyself of all power and worth. The meek will inherit Cheat Engine Forums.
