So my dad works in a company called Luminators as an electrical engineer.
He started working there like less than a year ago, and they LOVE him. They already sent him on a 1-day business trip twice already.

Regardless, my dad asked his boss's boss to see if he could score me a job in the software department. The guy agree'd to look at my resume, and hand it over to the software department.

Fast forward a week later, I get a call asking from the software department if I'm still interested for the job as a code reviewer/tester.

So, if things go good, my first job will be at a major company in the software department. I will be paid minimum wage at first, but I honestly don't give a fuck, the job potential this place has, and me not even being 18 yet (will be 18 in 3 more days), I think this is really damn good.

It's a good start.
But make sure you do like it as well and if not, decline future job offers as software tester, else you'll be stuck in a segment you don't like. (future employees look at your resume to see what you're good at)

I had that with database design. Sure, i'm good at it, and the first 4 jobs I did where database design jobs that where really successful, but daamn, was that boring.
